At Cavendish Nuclear we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Work Pack Engineer - Piping Systems at the Hinkley Point C new nuclear build in Bridgwater, Somerset.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's 2,500 rooms.
The role
As a Work Pack Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll liaise with client/Leads to ensure the design requirements are prepared and understood pre commencement of design.
Day to day, you'll consult/assign the appropriate Design Category with Temporary Works based on the risks presented by the design, ensuring that any residual risks are included in the design brief.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week based on site at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset. Accommodation and travel expenses paid for those outside of the region.
